Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kejia Festival website (kejiafest.com), registering for workshops, submitting a vendor or volunteer application, or attending the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Workshop Registration

  • ▸Workshop seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • ▸Most workshops are free to attend; any workshops with a fee will be clearly indicated at the time of registration.
  • ▸A confirmed registration does not guarantee entry if you arrive after a workshop has reached capacity at the venue.
  • ▸Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance so your seat can be offered to another attendee.
  • ▸Kejia Festival reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified by email.

3. Vendor Participation

  • ▸Vendor applications are subject to review and approval by Kejia Festival organizers.
  • ▸Accepted vendors must comply with all applicable Alberta Health Services food handling regulations.
  • ▸Vendors are responsible for their own equipment, insurance, and permits as required.
  • ▸Kejia Festival reserves the right to remove a vendor from the event for violations of event rules or local regulations.
  • ▸Vendor fees and specific terms will be communicated directly upon application approval.

4. Volunteer Participation

  • ▸Volunteer roles are subject to availability and approval.
  • ▸Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older (those under 18 require parental consent).
  • ▸Volunteers agree to follow all directions from Kejia Festival staff and event organizers.
  • ▸Volunteering is unpaid; any benefits (e.g., meals, event access) will be specified in your volunteer confirmation.

5. Event Attendance

  • ▸Attendees must comply with all event rules, venue guidelines, and instructions from staff.
  • ▸Kejia Festival reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.
  • ▸Recording (photo/video) of public performances is permitted for personal use. Commercial use requires written permission.
  • ▸Kejia Festival is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property at the event.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, graphics, text, and event branding — is the property of Kejia Festival or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. Content you submit (e.g., vendor descriptions, photos) remains yours; by submitting it you grant Kejia Festival a non-exclusive licence to use it for event promotion.
